Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and developed to be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to position materials in a more precise manner. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being engineered and made all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
