Hyster is proud in providing great material handling products that are dependable and reliable equipment that have low long term costs of ownership. We also provide ongoing service for your equipment to keep them working efficiently.
Due to their simplicity compared to a traditional DC motor, Hyster has transitioned to the AC traction and pump motors. When utilized in a normal working environment, the AC motor's periodic maintenance intervals could be up to 500 hours. There is no arching, sparking, or maintenance, and no need to service brush rigging, brushes or motor commutators. In addition, these motors develop lower temperatures overall when compared to DC motors that give equal output. Hyster AC traction and pump motors provide greater thermal performance, speed capabilities, more torque, and continued reliability.
The top of the industry masts, Hyster's vista masts are made of solid steel cast cross members. Moreover, they are designed with a big window for better visibility. They have full-face straight load rollers which are canted at three degrees and feature the nested channel design. In addition, brass side thrust plugs allow the operator to easily make adjustments to the mast during maintenance without having to remove or disassemble the mast. The Vista mast is designed and made by Hyster to precise specs.
Hyster forklifts feature the industry's most dependable steer axle in the business for hydrostatic steering. This steer axle needs little to no maintenance and has been made to be reliable and durable. For added safety, the Operator Pre-Shift Checklist requires the operator to answer certain questions to make sure that the unit has been inspected before using it. This is an optional feature which means the lift could be programmed not to start if the checklist is not completed or if there is an issue that needs attention before lift operation.
