Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the person using it to lift the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts aren't able to move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would normally utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is designed to hoist workers is called a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
