Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale spotlights the single reach NR and the double reach NDR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale apply best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various stance and control handle configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations like the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides strong deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been designed for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly comprise tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really improve the overall throughput and productivity, Yale provides industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific function which maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence really reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort in order to reduce operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the load to its required height. This height could be over 30 feet. Like the majority of turret trucks they are normally guided by wire or rail when used in very narrow aisle applications.
