The Combilift company was founded by two engineers, Robert Moffett and Martin McVicar. Between them, they had more than 40 years of engineering experience when they established the company in 1998 within Monaghan, Ireland. In just more than a decade, Combilift became a leader in the long handling market all over the globe, providing equipment to more than 50 markets worldwide.
