Terex Boom Lifts
Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machines manufactured by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for instance, in industrial situations where the equipment must travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and advantages of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC machinery.
Key features which this combination provides is over, out and up positioning capabilities for complete versatility. What's more, the zero tail-swing offered by most models, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.
The proportional and drive controls provide the machine with precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. For quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive settings, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an extra working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates 90 degrees to either side.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
The Terex Genie is ideal for outdoor construction applications and industrial applications. This model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine out, over and up positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach provided by this particular type is second to none in the market.
The diesel engines with articulating booms provide zero tail-swing on the majority of models and have a tight turning radius. These machinery are great for maneuvering in confined locations. Moreover, they offer utmost power, exceptional torque and grade and terrain maneuverability. The diesel engines are generally quiet as well. The majority of models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to provide great flexibility on rough and uneven surfaces.
The 4 or 2 wheel drive models, offer the rough terrain features and high ground clearance that make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom models are available and provide added range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models as well.
