Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts
Most commonly, IC or internal combustion forklifts are used for indoor applications including: trucking, manufacturing, bottling and warehousing, among other things. These models ride on cushion tires which are solid rubber tires. The IC forklift units could run either by dual fuel, diesel or LPG or Liquid Petroleum Gas. The dual fuel models work with both gasoline and LPG. These equipment are able to work on either fuel but not simultaneously. Internal combustion engines are Class 4 lift trucks. The engine can power all functions of the truck, the hydraulics and truck.
The GO4 Series and the Nissan Forklift Platinum II units have capacities varying from 3000 to 11,000 pounds. These units offer CARB certified LPG or dual-fuel or LPG/gasoline engines. The CARB certification on these particular engines gives them the confidence to help protect the natural environment as it enables the forklifts to produce low emissions. The environmental certifications like CARB, help employers offer cleaner and thus safer working atmosphere for their workers.
The fuel management systems provided by Nissan, the LP/Gas combinations, offer optimum engine operation to decrease exhaust emissions and offer fantastic fuel economy at the same time. Each Platinum II fork truck is outfitted with their standard compressive engine protection system in place to be able to warn operators in case of a severe drop in oil pressure or excessive heat. This specific system helps to extend your drive train and engine life to help keep your lift truck investment functioning at its optimum ability.
As companies have tried to become more "green" to be more efficient and environmentally friendly, the dual fuel lift trucks units have been making big waves in the business. It's also a good idea to rent the machine for a bit to see if you like the way it handles before purchasing one. There are a lot of different choices within the industry nowadays and with a little research, you could pick the best model for your particular use.
